GE 132 ton Centercab switcher
This is my attempt to scratch build a 132 to centercab switcher as owned by the Wellsville Addison & Galeton RR.

The hoods and cab section finally come together.

It is starting to look like an engine.

The grill parts. These parts were all made by shaping a stack of .020" styrene to size on a sander and by hand sanding.

The grill parts assembled with the support spacers in between

The finished grill assembly in the opening of the hood. Some final shaping still needs to be done
The next project involved getting some couplers on this beast. This was not the easiest job to figure out at first. I found that I had to remove part of the truck to allow clearance for the coupler box.

There was about 1/8" - 3/16" removed from the end of the gear box on the trucks. I went back as far as the gears would allow me to go. I am sure I will build some sort of cover to go over the exposed gear. You know I want my wife to have to still clean up her share of cat hair.

It's a tight fit but, it will work. Now I just have to figure out how to mount the bodywork to the frame.

Body work almost done. So far everything fits and is where it is supposed to be.
